Come study in China! The cost of living here is dirt cheap, and the best place in the world to study Mandarin is in Beijing. This website hosts many hundreds of Chinese natives eager to be your conversation partner. For best results, try to find a language partner whose English (or whatever your native tongue might be) is slightly weaker then your Chinese. If their English is stronger, then it will be hard to avoid spending most of your time together talking English only.

If you already live in China, use this website to quickly and vastly expand your network of local Chinese friends and acquaintances, particularly in Beijing and Shanghai where most of our members are concentrated.

If you are planning to come to Beijing for next summer's 2008 Olympics, this website could be very useful to make local friends in advance, perhaps find a local person to show you around, and maybe even find a Chinese person willing to give or rent you an economical room to stay in.
